Newspaper Club

Howl & Hoot

Public School 83, in partnership with our sister school, Public School 182 (BBMS), has launched a Newspaper Club that also produces a weekly Morning Show for students to enjoy. Sit back and tune in! Use the links below to watch past episodes.

Arts & activities

Beyond the newsroom, our clubs and arts programs give students room to sing, create, run, and grow.

Chorus Program

Students sing under the direction of Ms. Guzman, performing at most school-wide events and shows. Our chorus is proudly featured each year at the annual District 4 Performing Arts Gala at El Museo de Barrio!

Visual Art Club

Our in-house Visual Arts Club, led by Mr. Jackson, inspires students to explore creative techniques and express their ideas through art.

Arts Pathways

Arts Pathways connects our students to creative programming across the school day, building on the music and visual art that make P.S. 83 a place where every child can find their voice.

Girls on the Run NYC

Girls on the Run NYC brings its nationally recognized program to P.S. 83, combining running with lessons that help girls build confidence, character, and connection.
